Resolve .si names

Two ways to turn hello.si into a Solana address in your app, bot or wallet. Both are free and need no key.

From DNS, without us

Every name carries a TXT record sol=<address>. Any DNS resolver can read it, so this keeps working even if our site is down.

dig +short TXT hello.si
"sol=7xKXtg2CW87d97TXJSDpbD5jBkheTqA83TZRuJosgAsU"
// Node.js
import { promises as dns } from 'node:dns'
const txt = (await dns.resolveTxt('hello.si')).flat()
const address = txt.find((t) => t.startsWith('sol='))?.slice(4)

After an address change the TXT record follows within a minute, plus the 5-minute DNS cache.
